The challenge was to create a good user experience for institutional clients to get on board and start trading in the crypto exchange. There are many manadatory steps in the process of onboarding new clients and all legal requirements must be met. The expected outcome was to have an intuitive onboarding journey for institutional clients that is legally compliant.
I worked with a team of UX designers and business analysts to find out all the legal requirements of relevant jurisdictions and information required from users. Use cases were documented in design specifications and wireframes were created to explain the user flows.

The institutional onboarding journey was released in 2021. The concept of this onboarding journey was well received.
User feedback was gathered with the help of the Customer Service Team and analyzed by the Product and UX teams for future product enhancements.
